Dear Tonyamaria, You really have a piece of heaven! We really enjoyed staying there, the place is chic, super clean and with nice furniture and high quality linens. The pool and the view so relaxing. Those amazing trees in the garden! We felt so welcomed and she makes you feel at home. We will for sure recommend Le Logge.

"We had a marvelous stay at Le Logge. All the family enjoyed it very much. We had enough time to visit the cities around Spoleto and to enjoy the many restaurants around. And the pool was the best refreshment when it was too hot in Umbria!"

Une idée du Paradis
We were looking for a place away from the confusion where we could spend a few days in the name of nature and relaxation. We found this home that fully met our expectations, so much so that we were convinced to extend our stay compared to the initial forecasts. The view and the sunset from the loggia apartment will remain in our hearts. Thanks also to the advice and courtesy of the owners, impeccable from every point of view, we spent unforgettable days visiting even more corners of paradise than those of the more traditional tourist circuits. Absolutely guaranteed anti-Covid distancing also thanks to the owners' choice to limit attendance, while still being able to count on large and separate spaces. This too is a sign of attention to every detail ... that makes the difference. Highly recommended. Roberta and Massimiliano

I arrived in Silvignano for the first time at the end of July, invited to join dear friends from Paris who were on vacation in Umbria. I did not know where I was going, I had not looked at anything on the spot, a summer without holidays for me, constantly at pace in the work with great upheavals that happened in 24 hours.
I leave Bologna early on a Thursday in the days at 40 degrees, the only goal was to meet my friends and spend a weekend together ...
I did not know that I would arrive in a place that would put me back in contact with the earth, the sun, the scents of nature and the garden, this happened to me when I arrived at the Historic Residence Le Logge Di Silvignano, the silver color of the olive trees and that harmony where history and nature are connected immediately put me back in balance thanks to the clear sky and the peace that that place (Le logge di Silvignano), that land know how to put.
With Pamela and Olivier, my friends, we had dinner and breakfast on the terrace of our house, the one that overlooks the garden, we looked at the swimming pool and talked with great lightness.
Silvignano is just a few kilometers from the wonders of Umbria, but we (lovers of history, culinary culture and beautiful Italian villages) did not even want to leave the house and the garden. We had found a place of peace in a summer and a year that will not be forgotten.
The details of the house, chosen with taste, without ever distorting what is linked to the history of the place, a harmony of beauty in every corner, excellent cleanliness (the precautions to avoid COVID totally followed, indeed I would say super precise) and the custodian owners of this magnificent home welcomed us into their home by providing their hospitality, history and knowledge of the area.
I returned to Bologna after a few days thinking that I absolutely had to return, something was calling me back to that place. So I came back in early September with my sister who rested freeing her head, cooking and staying in the pool, I always worked until 5pm and then I just had to look out and see the cats in the garden, take a bath in the pool at sunset that full energy came.
It was enough to leave the house and look at the garden to have the energy again to visit places within minutes by car such as Spoleto, Spello, Montefalco, Bevagna., Trevi, every day an evening in one of the magnificent villages and then towards late evening we returned to the Logge di Silvignano and returning to the dwelling peace settled down.
After a week, on my planned return to Bologna, I realized that this was the place where I had to stay, I accompanied my sister to Bologna and I immediately left again, a decision made on the day I was planning to check out, I had to stay still.
As I write, I feel the scent of rosemary, sage, I see the olive trees and roses in the garden, I hear the martens crushing the peanuts and guardian cats in the gazebo, that pool in the middle of the silver color of the olive trees around, the fig and the persimmon full of fruit, my eye sees the sunset and those unforgettable orange and yellow colors that streak the sky.
A few kilometers are enough to reach the nearest town to immerse yourself in the restaurants, in the streets of oil, wine and culture, but the place that the owners have built is the elegance and harmony of beauty "where you understand the their hospitality and that of Umbria.
The owners have built and are preserving a special place that reflects their way of perceiving life in everyday life, they are Italians with an international spirit that opens their doors to all those who love true, authentic places and have respect for regards of the other.
I will return to Silvignano in Spring, waiting for the first warm sun to return there. Thanks for opening the doors of their "Home" to us.

I'm not sure why there hasn't been a current review of this property but since there hasn't I feel compelled to do so. We stayed in the Ulysses unit with another couple for a week in Sept. '14. The unit was awesome! This 800+ year old property has been impeccably restored right down to the high end multi feature windows. The view of the pool and hillside from our room was amazing!! The owners are wonderful, offering a host of recommendations for places to visit and eat (even assisting with reservations), not to mention the fact that they had supplies in the kitchen and a home baked pastry for us upon arrival. After a few days in Rome, this quaint countryside was a wonderful contrast. There are many places to visit within a quick drive, including Assisi. It was so fun to grab some local food to cook in the villa and enjoy on the extensive patio overlooking the valley. Wine and cheese by the pool at sunset was a wonderful way to end the day. We still can't believe we were able to spend a week at such an unbelievable place!! I would stay here again and again!! Thank you. Mary N, April 2015 - Home Away
What an amazing stay we had in September at Le Logge di Silvignano. The lovely setting and accommodations were only part of our wonderful time with you. Your gracious hospitality, our delicious breakfasts (with lemon and apple cake!) and your personal recommendations regarding what to see, where to eat, and what we shouldn't miss were always right on and so appreciated. Here are some photos not only from Le Logge but also from Norcia and Spoleto. Thank you and may our paths cross again, whether in Umbria or in Boston! Warmest regards, Sara,Bill and Anna D.- Boston USA Sept 2009
Buongiorno!! The remainder of our trip in Italy was wonderful. It was such a relief to pick up my daughter in Florence. Of course she got there without any problems. We loved CinqueTerre and loved the Chianti region, but our most favorite was Umbria. A lot of that had to do, of course, with our most gracious hosts! We stayed in wonderful places, but none came close to comparing with yours. Umbria is a very special place with very special people. Definitely the friendliest place in Italy that we visited. Again, thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. We enjoyed staying with you and visiting with you so much. Take care. Ciao! Tammy and Dave T.- Oregon USA Sept 2009 p.s. Please say hello to Kevin and Irene for us. They are such wonderful people.
we would like to thank you again for your hospitality in Silvignano - we liked our stay so much that we accidentally packed a plug adapter to take with us. We hope that your Logge will continue to evolve with great success and that we will be able to return as your guests in the future. In the meantime, we can only recommend you to our friends. On Sunday we enjoyed quite a bit the barbeque at the Novelli cantina, even though they were a bit stretched with the organization. We asked the young Novelli about the choice to use Sagrantino grapes for rosé sparkling wine He said that in this way they can use fruit that cannot go into the Sagrantino (or even the Rosso) - for example, because the grapes are slightly damaged or generally of lesser quality; also, they are not bound by the minimum ageing rules so they can immediately go to the market with the sparkling wine. They have it processed and bottled in Alsace. So there you go, a good marketing idea. Best regards, Alex and Aline Bruxelles Belgium May 2009
We had a fantastic start of journey in Italy thanks to your wonderuful hospitality and the gorgeous place you have. I just hope the rest of our journey lives up to this standards. I just don't know what we would have done without your tips about the places to visit in the area. They were so helpful. I will make sure I'll tell all about our stay here to a lot of our friends... Thanks for everything. Dilek – Emir – Buse O. from Istanbul, TURKEY. (P.S.) from Buse: I loved your place. I don't like places like this but yours is so beautiful. I changed my thoughts. (Jan e Irene B.v.A. – 20 luglio 2007)
A huge thank you for your hospitality. This is a beautiful, magical place, and we loved everything about it. Our family had a wonderful stay enjoying the property, the pool and the gorgeous area. The care and love that was put into this wonderful place shines through. We will be back, our very best, Rod, Cynthia, Kelsey and Connor, Toronto, Canada. We loved your welcome, your food, your home and hospitality. All the best with the completion of the "building project". You will certainly have a glorious home in the country. Thanks for a great week! Robin and Fiona N. (Christmas and New Year's Eve 2006/2007 – Robin e Fiona N. – New Zealand)
