The House of Ulysses is a special villa stretching across 4 split levels, comprising a spacious 130 sqm (1,400 square feet). The fully independent home is more than 500 years old and protected by Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism.

The villa can be accessed from a separate gate leading to the village and also through the gardens of the property. The hillside home is furnished with classic Italian furniture, antiques, and modern décor.

On the front side of the home, there is a large private terrace with seating equipped for dining al fresco, all offering unforgettable views of the peaceful Valle Umbra below. The always magnificent sunset from behind the distant Martani Mountains and the even more distant hills of Assisi is breathtaking.

The villa offers two spacious bedrooms, each with direct access to its own private bathroom. The bedrooms are located on different levels, with the lower bedroom offering a matrimonial bed that can also be disconnected into two comfortable twin beds. The upper bedroom is a full matrimonial size and cannot be separated.

A beautifully sunlit living room on the top level leads both to the fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining room featuring peaceful views of the distant mountains. The kitchen includes a 5-burner gas stove, oven, dishwasher, and full refrigerator with freezer.

On the entry-level floor there is the bar and social room, made up of stone walls and a barrel-vaulted stone ceiling. This ancient room was the cobbler’s workshop of the village and is now a bar and entertainment lounge for your relaxation and conversation. In this room, a high-quality rollaway bed may be added upon request to accommodate a fifth guest.
