The Farm Antonio Bachetoni is situated in the hills north of Spoleto in the fraction called Silvignano and covers an area of approximately 1,200 hectares; the nature and climate of the place has always favor the production of oil, truffles and fine meats with using organic farming methods.
The realization of these products is linked to the daily work and even today, follows the rhythms and techniques of farming tradition of this land.
It is thanks to this commitment, made of love for nature and respect for man, the oil, truffles and meats of our company possess these high quality requirements necessary for their consumption.
Around 1600 the Earl Pianciani planted a new olive grove on an area of 90 hectares. The olive grove, still in production, and consists of approximately 25,000 plants mostly belonging to the variety Moraiolo, By virtue of the hilly terrain, the climate, the hand-harvesting methods, the pressing of the olives and stone cold extraction, an oil is obtained which respects the organoleptic and chemical characteristics required by the Umbrian DOP.
