Where We Are
We are in Spoleto, in the heart of Umbria Region, at short distance with some of the most beautiful Italian medieval cities. Gateway to the Nera Valley and the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains, in the most beautiful unpolluted natural areas of our Country.
We are close to one of the trunks of the Via Francigena of Saint Francis of Assisi, that takes from Assisi to Rome.
We are located in the heart of the area where the D.O.P. Extra Vergin Olive Oil of the Spoleto-Assisi hills is produced.

Coming from North (Firenze - Bologna): Motorway A1, exit Bettolle/Sinalunga. Take the Highway to Perugia - Assisi – Foligno. Follow the National Road SS 3 Flaminia (direction Spoleto). Exit Campello Sul Clitunno. Turn right at the flashing traffic light, 200m and than left direction Campello-Silvignano. Drive through and leave the Campello-La Bianca village. After about 3,5 km, turn right to Silvignano and drive for 1,5 km. When the slope breaks out into widening and you see the bus stop on your left, you have arrived.
Coming from South(Roma): Motorway A1 exit Orte. Follow the National Road SS 3 Flaminia direction Terni-Spoleto. Reach and pass Spoleto (do not enter the City). Follow direction Perugia-Fano and exit right to Cortaccione-Bazzano. Follow than direction to Eggi, at the end of the road turn right on the old Flaminia Road for about 300 meters till TAMOIL gasoline station, before which you turn right to Passo D'Acera-Silvignano. Continue straight ahead for about 7 km, than turn left to SILVIGNANO, and keep your line without any deviation for ab 1,5 km. When you see the bus stop on your right, you have arrived.
Coming from East(ANCONA): Highway to Ancona-Jesi-Fabriano, continue on the National Road SS3 Flaminia to Nocera Umbra-Foligno-Spoleto. Exit Campello Sul Clitunno. Turn right at the flashing traffic light, 200m and than left direction Campello-Silvignano. Drive through and leave the Campello-La Bianca village. Rome Fiumicino or Ciampino Airports, ab 180 km to Spoleto. From the Airports you can reach Silvignano by car following direction given at “Coming from South“. As an alternative we recommend you reach Rome Termini Railway Station by train (from Fiumicino only) or taxi, and from there take a Eurostar or a Regional Train to Spoleto. ( 1 h 10').

Classic and Secret Umbria
Silvignano is stategically located for visiting both Classic and Secret Umbria.
You will reach the most important art medieval cities in a few minutes (Assisi 35 km, Montefalco 26 Km, Bevagna 28 km, Spello 25 km, la Valnerina 15 km, Norcia 40km, I Monti Sibillini e il Piano Grande di Castelluccio 70 km, Todi 40 km, Orvieto 70 km, Perugia 50 km, Gubbio 80 km)
Besides, you can discover the beautifull surroundings, a territory rich in History, Art and unspoiled nature. Small Villages and Castles, will make you feel back in the past times, when Silvignano and its surroundings where part of the Spoleto County. (XII to XV century).

Silvignano Surroundings
Silvignano and its surroundings offer several opportunities for your holiday.
Horse riding, visits to Historic olive mills where the precious D.O.P. Extra Vergin Olive Oil is made, and the vineyards and cellars where the D.O.C. Sagrantino and Trebbiano Spoletino wines are produced.
The region is also rich in Museums and Castles.
Cycling is possibile from Spoleto till Assisi alongside the Clitunno River, or following the www.umbriabike.it tracks through valleys and hills.
You will also be able to walk the antique “Francigena Road” connecting Assisi with Roma, through the hamlets of Poreta, Bazzano and Eggi and the olive trees hillsides towards Campello and Trevi.
Rafting on the Marmore waterfall and on Nera River or hang-gliding on the Subasio Mountain, if you like adventure.
For Golf lovers, the best Golf Course in Umbria is at just 30 minutes drive from Silvignano.
