Here are some of the comments and appreciations of our Guests, Magazines and Travel Guides expressed to us during these past years. We are grateful to them also for all advice and suggestions that helped us growing and improving our facilities.

Some Guests have become good friends of ours, although living quite far in other countries, but the Internet helps us keep relations ongoing. Meeting opportunities are quite rare of course, but possibly even more precious.

Some Guests regulary return, and some others have fallen in love so deeply with our place, that they finally decided to buy and restore a house in the Village for themselves.

Dear Diana and Alberto,
What an amazing stay we had in September at Le Logge di Silvignano.
The lovely setting and accommodations were only part of our wonderful time with you.
Your gracious hospitality, our delicious breakfasts (with Alberto's lemon and apple cake!) and your personal recommendations regarding what to see, where to eat, and what we shouldn't miss were always right on and so appreciated.

Buongiorno Diana e Alberto!!
The remainder of our trip in Italy was wonderful. It was such a relief to pick up my daughter in Florence.
Of course she got there without any problems. We loved CinqueTerre and loved the Chianti region, but our most favorite was Umbria.
A lot of that had to do, of course, with our most gracious hosts!
We stayed in wonderful places, but none came close to comparing with yours.
Umbria is a very special place with very special people.
Definitely the friendliest place in Italy that we visited.
Again, thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality.
We enjoyed staying with you and visiting with you so much.

Dear Diana and Alberto,
we would like to thank you again for your hospitality in Silvignano - we liked our stay so much that we accidentally packed a plug adapter to take with us.
We hope that your Logge will continue to evolve with great success and that we will be able to return as your guests in the future. In the meantime, we can only recommend you to our friends.
On Sunday we enjoyed quite a bit the barbeque at the Novelli cantina, even though they were a bit stretched with the organization.
We asked the young Novelli about the choice to use Sagrantino grapes for rosé sparkling wine
He said that in this way they can use fruit that cannot go into the Sagrantino (or even the Rosso) - for example, because the grapes are slightly damaged or generally of lesser quality; also, they are not bound by the minimum ageing rules so they can immediately go to the market with the sparkling wine.
They have it processed and bottled in Alsace. So there you go, a good marketing idea.

Terug in een winderig en regenachtig Holland denken we met veel plezier en genoegen terug aan onze vakantie in Italië.
Na vier geweldige dagen in Rome was ons verblijf in "Le Logge di Silvignano" werkelijk fantastisch. De authenticiteit, de rust en de sfeer van jullie Agriturismo hebben wij als uniek ervaren en wij genieten nog steeds, na van ons verblijf bij jullie, wanneer we er aan terug denken.
Onze veronderstelling dat twee dagen in Umbrië - om uit te rusten van de drukte van Rome – voldoende zou zijn is volstrekt verkeerd geweest; een verblijf van minsten vier dagen in Silvignano hadden wij zeker nodig gehad om volop te genieten van de rust, jullie gastvrijheid, de omgeving en de cultuur die ook zo ruim aanwezig is in de omgeving van Spoleto.
Wij hopen zeker nog eens bij jullie terug te mogen komen!

I have tried without succes for several days to get into the comments section of your web page. I wish to advise you of what a wonderful addition the Logge di Silvignano (Spoleto) is to your repertoire of fine Bed and Breakfasts. My wife and I stayed there for two nights in September and it was one of the highlights of a 21day visit to Italy. The Suite and service was exquisite and it was all due to the fabulous hospitality of Alberto and Diana Araimo. Mr and Mrs Araimo arranged for details that no other host came close to matching throughout our 21 day visit to Italy. The establishment is beautiful, clean and comfortable and the setting is one of the most picturesque in all of Italy.We highly recommend a visit to the tiny village of Silvignano. Alberto and Diana,
I must tell you MADE our trip. Alice and I enjoyed two weeks of splendid sightseeing, beautiful landscapes, good wine etc. but out of all of that, our visit with you is the experience that made Italy more than good wine and beautiful duomos. You were so personable and interested in our visit. The accomodations are beyond expectation. Most importantly, I loved seeing your country through your eyes and discoursing on the wide variety of topics with both of you (not the least of which was the truffle discussion, complete with pictures). And John Denver and White House eggs in Silvignano….Who would have thunk it??? Anyway, I had to tell you the impact you had on two dumb Americans in your beautiful country. I also have to reiterate our invitation to visit the west. We have our own remote house on a golf course north of Phoenix in Arizona. So you see, you have some options. And if you ever get to New Zealand or Costa Rica, we have fun folks like you to recommend. Thank again, it was such a pleasure!

Alberto,
I wanted to let you know that we very much enjoyed our stay at le Logge di Silvignano. We really enjoyed your suggestions for day trips. We especially enjoyed talking with you, about Italy, the history, the food, the culture, and the remodelling of your le Logge. And we took your advice and went to Ostia Antica and had a nice time wandering around those ruins. It is a very large site with lots to see and wander about. The mosaic near the amphitheatre were amazing. And the museum had a very nice display of statues and other carvings. We than wandered into Fiumicino and ate at l'orologio osteria, on the via della Torre Clementina 114. It was a very good meal-the restaurant serves seafood in very tantilizing ways. The chef was very gracious and translated the menue for us, they have a chalkboard menue – it changes daily. Good wine is also available. Thanks again for helping to make our Italian vacation very enjoyable. Linda
